Welcome

I’m Omar Ramirez, LCSW, a licensed psychotherapist serving clients across New York.

I provide individual psychotherapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and major life transitions. My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in evidence-based therapies that help clients better understand their experiences while developing tools for meaningful change.

In addition to psychotherapy, I conduct forensic biopsychosocial evaluations for immigration proceedings, working with individuals and immigration attorneys to document the psychological impact of trauma, hardship, and family separation. When requested by counsel, I also provide expert testimony in immigration court to support the findings of my evaluations.
